1 Foreword

JB/T 8262.2-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It is one of 4 parts of the JB/T 8262 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the part of the Chinese machinery industry standard on electrostatic dry toner that gives the test method for the charge-to-mass ratio. It describes how the charge-to-mass ratio of dry xerographic toner is measured, setting out the procedure by which that measurement is made. The method serves both the measurement of that ratio in two-component developers and the measurement made on single-component toners. As a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry it quotes GB/T 6379.1-2004. The part replaces JB/T 8262.2-1999 and carries the Chinese classification G81 and the international classification 37.100.20.
