1 Foreword

JB/T 7346-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7346-1994.

2 Scope

Mechanical continuously variable transmissions are tested according to JB/T 7346-2014, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. It states the general requirements for performance testing, the instruments to be used and the accuracy they must reach, and the make-up of the test bench and the test system. It then sets out the test programme and the test methods, and the way measured data are collected and processed. The standard quotes GB/T 6404.1, GB/T 6404.2, JB/T 6876, JB/T 6877 and SJ/T 10423. It replaces JB/T 7346-1994.
