1 Foreword

JB/T 7274.8-2014 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7274.8-1994.

It is one of 15 parts of the JB/T 7274 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the eighth part of a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on knobs, and it deals with the triangular arrow knob. The part fixes the form and the dimensions of this knob, the way it is marked and the technical requirements applying to it. Its scope is confined to triangular arrow knobs, the other shapes of the series being treated in parts of their own. JB/T 7276 and JB/T 7277 are quoted in it, the second being the general standard for operating elements. It supersedes JB/T 7274.8-1994.
