1 Foreword

JB/T 7271.6-2014 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7271.6-1994.

It is one of 11 parts of the JB/T 7271 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for handle levers, the bars through which an operator turns or sets a machine control. It specifies the types and dimensions of the lever, the marking to be applied to it and the technical requirements it must meet. The part is written for handle levers themselves rather than for the knobs and sleeves fitted to them, those components being covered by the other parts of the JB/T 7271 series. JB/T 7276 and JB/T 7277 are quoted and used with it. It replaces JB/T 7271.6-1994.
