1 Foreword

JB/T 7270.12-2014 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7270.12-1994.

It is one of 23 parts of the JB/T 7270 series.

2 Scope

Adjustable clamping handles are covered by JB/T 7270.12-2014, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry and one part of the JB/T 7270 series of machine tool accessories. Short and dimensional in character, it fixes the forms and dimensions of the adjustable clamping handle, its marking and its technical requirements, and it applies to that component alone. The part is filed under the Chinese classification J27 and the international classification 25.060.99. It quotes only two documents, JB/T 7276 and JB/T 7277, both from the same family of parts. It replaces the 1994 edition, JB/T 7270.12-1994;
