The document fixes the terminology and definitions for these valves together with their patterns, models and conditions of use, and then sets requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to valves for refrigeration systems working with R600a, R134a or refrigerants of similar thermodynamic properties, with a valve port diameter not greater than 2.0 mm. It carries Chinese classification J73 and international classification 27.200, and supersedes JB/T 7223-1994. GB/T 2423.3, GB/T 2828.1 and GB 14536.1-2008 are among the standards it quotes.
