1 Foreword

JB/T 6805-2008 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 1 February 2008 and has been in force since 1 July 2008.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6805-1993.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard stating the technical conditions for the contact devices of pressure gauges. It specifies the product categories, the technical requirements, the test methods and inspection rules, and marking, packaging and storage. It applies to the direct-acting and magnetically assisted contact devices fitted to pressure gauges for the control of pressure signals and the switching of electrical signals, and it does not apply to photoelectric or inductive contact devices. The standards it quotes are GB/T 2423.10-1995, GB/T 15464-1995, GB/T 17214.3-2000 and JB/T 9329-1999. It replaces JB/T 6805-1993, carries the Chinese classification N11 and the international classification 17.100, and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
