1 Foreword

JB/T 6674-2016 was issued by MIIT on 5 April 2016 and has been in force since 1 September 2016.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6674-2007, JB/T 6674-1993.

2 Scope

JB/T 6674-2016 is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry for tea dryers. It states the terms and definitions, the types and basic parameters, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, and the marking, packing, transport and storage of the machine used to dry tea leaf. Three constructions fall within it: the chain baking type, in both automatic continuous and manually fed intermittent form, the mesh belt type and the fluidised bed type, all called dryers in the text. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 191, GB/T 2828.1-2012, GB 5226.1, GB/T 8304-2013 and JB/T 5673-2015. It supersedes JB/T 6674-2007.
