2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the accuracy of bench type combined machines for woodworking. It states the requirements for the geometric accuracy of the desktop multi-purpose woodworking machine and the test methods by which that accuracy is checked. The machines concerned are the bench type multi-purpose woodworking machines offering flat planing, planing, tongue and groove work or drilling, and sawing off, whether they combine all four uses or only two or three of them. It quotes JB/T 4171-1999. The document was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and carries the Chinese classification J65 and the international classification 79.120.10.
