1 Foreword

JB/T 7497.2-2010 was issued by MIIT on 14 May 2010 and has been in force since 1 October 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7497.2-1999.

It is one of 5 parts of the JB/T 7497 series.

2 Scope

This standard is Part 2 of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on planing tool grinding machines for woodworking, and it is the part given over to accuracy. For the woodworking planer blade grinder it fixes the geometric accuracy and the precision requirements, together with the methods used to test them. The part applies to woodworking planer blade grinders whose maximum grinding length is 1250 mm or less. The standard was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and is classified J65 in the Chinese scheme and 79.120.10 in the international one. It quotes JB/T 3377-1992 and JB/T 4171-1999.
