JB/T 6430-2026 is the English-translated version of 一般用喷油螺杆空气压缩机.

JB/T 6430-2026 covers oil-flooded screw air compressors for standard applications. In this type of compressor, oil is injected into the compression chamber of a twin-screw airend to seal, lubricate and cool, and the machine supplies compressed air for general industrial use. The standard sets out the requirements for compressors of this kind as a product.

Compressor manufacturers, factory engineers, installers and buyers can use it when designing, specifying or accepting these machines, and test laboratories can use it as a basis for checking them. It is a voluntary industry standard, as the /T in its code shows. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 13 February 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It replaces JB/T 6430-2014.

JB/T 6430-2026 is a recommended industry standard of the People's Republic of China in the Machinery sector, approved and issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 13 February 2026, with effect from 1 September 2026.

This edition replaces JB/T 6430-2014.

It is administered by the National Technical Committee for Compressor Standardization (SAC/TC 145).
