JB/T 6372-2011 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the hardfaced, surfacing-welded sealing ring used in mechanical seals. Its field of application is the surfacing sealing ring of a mechanical seal. The standard replaces JB/T 6372-1992 and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology under the Chinese classification J22 and ICS 21.140. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 984, GB/T 1184-1996, GB/T 1220, GB/T 2828.1-2003 and GB/T 14975.
