JB/T 6340.4-2026 is Part 4 of the standard series on roll grinding machines. It deals with the testing of accuracy for roll grinding machines in which the worktable moves, that is, machines of the worktable moving style. The series covers the accuracy inspection of these machines, which are used to grind rolls.

Roll grinding machine manufacturers, rolling mills and roll shops that use the machines, and inspection and calibration bodies will find it useful. It is a voluntary standard, as the /T in the code shows. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 28 April 2026 and takes effect on 2 November 2026. It is a new standard.
