This standard specifies the general requirements, accessories, tools, safety and hygiene, processing and assembly requirements for general-purpose roll grinding machines, describes the corresponding test methods, and specifies the inspection items and technical document requirements. This standard applies to the manufacture of roller grinding machines with a maximum workpiece diameter of 500mm to 3000mm and a maximum workpiece length of 3000mm to 20000mm, and to table-moving roller grinding machines with a maximum workpiece diameter of 200mm to 1000mm and a maximum workpiece length of 1000mm to 5000mm.
