JB/T 6314-1992 is a recommended standard of the Chinese mechanical and machinery industry that deals with flameproof leakage-detection relays for use in mines. It fixes the basic parameters of the relay, its technical requirements, the test methods and the rules of inspection. The standard is written for the design, manufacture and testing of leakage relays fitted in general leakage protection units in mines, and its provisions may also be consulted for the components of such units. It cites the GB 3836 series on explosion-protected electrical apparatus, GB 1497, GB 998, GB 843, the GB 2423 environmental tests and the GB 2900 vocabularies, together with JB 4262 and JB 4002. It takes the place of JB 4257-1986. Issued on 26 June 1992, it has applied since 1 January 1993.
