JB/T 4255-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4255-1999.
2 Scope
Medium and light duty apron feeders are the machines covered by JB/T 4255-2013, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. It sets their type and basic parameters and then the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transportation and storage. Feeders arranged horizontally or on an incline for conveying are its field of use.
