1 Foreword

JB/T 3290.2-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 3290.2-1999.

It is one of 3 parts of the JB/T 3290 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the Chinese recommended machinery industry standard covering the accuracy of vertical single spindle mortising machines used in woodworking. It sets out the geometric accuracy and the working accuracy required of these machines, together with the test methods by which each requirement is checked. The provisions are written for vertical single spindle mortising machines, and the document forms Part 2 of the JB/T 3290 series on that machine type. It quotes GB/T 8170-2008 and JB/T 4171-1999. The standard replaces the earlier edition JB/T 3290.2-1999.
