Scope

JB/T 2850-2007 is the English-translated version of 滚动轴承 Cr4Mo4V高温轴承钢零件热处理技术条件.

JB/T 2850-2007 is the Chinese machinery industry standard, recommended in status, for the heat treatment of rolling bearing parts made from Cr4Mo4V elevated temperature bearing steel. It states the technical requirements for annealing, quenching and tempering of such parts, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it also covers pickling and the ball crushing load values. Its field of use is the inspection of heat treatment quality, both between manufacturing operations and on finished parts; bearing parts with special requirements follow the relevant standards and the product design instead. GB/T 230.1-2004, GB/T 231.1-2002, GB/T 4340.1-1999, GB/T 6394-2002, JB/T 1255-2001, JB/T 7361-2007 and JB/T 7362-2007 are quoted in it. It replaces JB/T 2850-1993. Issued on 6 March 2007, it has applied since 1 September 2007.
