1 Foreword

JB/T 2776-2010 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 2776-1992.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard among the valve components documents, and its subject is high pressure lens gaskets. It fixes the forms, the sizes, the materials and the requirements of the perforated and non-perforated lens gaskets used at the angle of forged high pressure valve flanges. The gaskets in its scope are those of nominal pressure from PN160 to PN320 and nominal size from DN3 to DN200, for service temperatures from -30 °C to 200 °C. It replaces both JB/T 2776-1992 and JB/T 2777-1992. Its classification entries are J16 and 23.060, and the issuing agency is the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
