JB/T 2322.3-2011 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard and is the types and parameters part of JB/T 2322 on horizontal lathes. It fixes the types of lathe and the main parameters for them, for both the ordinary and the precision accuracy grade.
Newly designed lathes are what it addresses: those with a swing over the bed from 250 mm to 1600 mm, a maximum workpiece length up to 16000 mm and a maximum workpiece weight below 10 t.
The classification recorded is J53 in the Chinese scheme and 25.080.10 in the international scheme. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 5900.1-2008, GB/T 5900.2-1997 and GB/T 5900.3-1997. It supersedes JB/T 2322.3-2006.

JB/T 2322.3-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 2322.3-2006.
It is one of 5 parts of the JB/T 2322 series.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard and is the types and parameters part of JB/T 2322 on horizontal lathes.
