It is intended for press builders, die manufacturers and stamping companies who purchase try-out presses, as well as test laboratories and inspectors. The standard is voluntary (code with /T). It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 28 April 2026 and comes into force on 2 November 2026. The National Technical Committee for Forging and Stamping Machinery Standardization is responsible. It is a new standard and does not replace an earlier edition.
