JB/T 15523.1-2026 is Part 1 of the series on NC die try-out hydraulic presses. A die try-out press is used to test and adjust forming dies before they go into production. This part deals with the types and basic parameters of the press, while the technical conditions and accuracy are covered in the other parts.

Press manufacturers, die makers and stamping plants that buy try-out presses, designers and inspection bodies are its users. The standard is voluntary, as the /T in the code indicates. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 28 April 2026, and it takes effect on 2 November 2026. The National Technical Committee for Forging and Stamping Machinery Standardization is in charge. It is a new standard.
