1 Scope

Part 1 of the JB/T 12996 series, JB/T 12996.1-2017 is the Chinese machinery industry standard giving the types and basic parameters of moving rotary head frame type hydraulic presses. It specifies the type and the basic parameters of presses from 6 000 kN to 20 000 kN. The standard applies to frame hydraulic presses in which the ram and the movable table can be moved and the ram and the rotary table can be rotated. It carries the Chinese classification J62 and the international classification 25.120.10. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 9 January 2017, with effect from 1 July 2017.

2 Normative references

3 Terms and definitions

Clause 3 of JB/T 12996.1-2017 gives the terms and definitions that apply to the document. In a Chinese machinery industry standard a definition is either written out in full or taken from another standard, and in that case the source is printed in square brackets after it, so that the same term keeps one meaning across the whole family of standards that use it.

How many clauses there are, and how they are divided into subclauses, depends on the document.

Annexes — normative when they carry requirements, informative when they carry guidance, lettered A, B, C in the order they are first cited in the text.

Bibliography — the documents referred to for information only, which are not part of the requirements.
