JB/T 12473-2015 is the English-translated version of 连轧管机用鼓形齿式万向联轴器.

JB/T 12473-2015 covers crowned gear spindles, the drum-toothed universal couplings of types ZGL I and ZGL II, used on tube-rolling mills. The machinery industry standard fixes the types and designation, the basic parameters and main dimensions, the technical requirements and the inspection rules, and covers marking, packaging and storage.

It applies to couplings joining the mill shaft and the reducer shaft on two coaxial shafts, transmitting a permissible torque from 53 kN·m to 585 kN·m, with a permissible shaft angle below 1.5 degrees under load and below 5 degrees with no load. It was issued on 10 October 2015 and entered into force on 1 March 2016.
