JB/T 12336-2015 is the Chinese machinery industry standard giving the technical requirements and test methods for small and medium power biomass gas engines. It sets the particular requirements and the test methods for spark-ignition engines burning biomass gas through a gas and air mixer.
It applies to generating sets, to irrigation and drainage machinery and to mobile machinery driven by such an engine, whether the engine was designed and built to this standard from the start or converted from a diesel or a petrol engine; other spark-ignition gas engines without a gas and air mixer, or burning a gas other than biomass gas, may be dealt with by reference to it.
