JB/T 12323-2022 is the Chinese machinery industry standard for vapour compression cycle evaporatively cooled water chiller and heat pump units. The standard applies to the manufacture of motor-driven vapour compression cycle chilled water and heat pump units that use evaporative condensers. Spray-type air-cooled chilled water and heat pump units, and units for drinking water or other beverages, are excluded. It was issued on 30 September 2022 and took effect on 1 April 2023.
