Scope
JB/T 12210-2015 is the English-translated version of 内燃机 空气滤清器 （粒子计数法）分级滤清效率试验方法.
JB/T 12210-2015 sets out a laboratory test method for measuring the performance of the air cleaner of an internal combustion engine through a fractional efficiency test on particles of 0.3 µm to 5 µm optical diameter.
The performance measured takes in air flow resistance or pressure loss, the initial fractional efficiency and the incremental fractional efficiency recorded during the dust-holding test.
The standard gives uniform and specific provisions for the test procedure, the test conditions, the test equipment and the performance report, for bench work on the air filters of new-engine intake systems and for assessing the conformity of their filtration performance.
It is an identical adoption of ISO/TS 19713-1:2010 and quotes ISO 5011-2000 and ISO 12103-1.

2 Scope
JB/T 12210-2015 sets out a laboratory test method for measuring the performance of the air cleaner of an internal combustion engine through a fractional efficiency test on particles of 0.3 µm to 5 µm optical diameter.
