JB/T 11880.1-2026 gives the general requirements for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems fitted to diesel engines. An SCR system treats the exhaust gas of a diesel engine with a urea-based reagent to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. This first part addresses the system as a whole and serves as the general specification for the series, while the later parts deal with individual components.
The standard is used by engine makers, SCR system and component suppliers, test laboratories and buyers who specify or accept these systems. It is a voluntary industry standard, as the /T in its code shows. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 13 February 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It replaces JB/T 11880.1-2014.

Foreword
JB/T 11880.1-2026 is a recommended industry standard of the People's Republic of China in the Machinery sector, approved and issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 13 February 2026, with effect from 1 September 2026.
This edition replaces JB/T 11880.1-2014.
It is administered by the National Technical Committee for Internal Combustion Engine Standardization.
