2 Scope

Part 5 of the Chinese machinery standard on medium and high power gas engines, JB/T 11792.5-2014, is given to straw gas engines. It provides terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for the power of straw gas engines, together with provisions for marking, packaging and storage. It applies to straw gas engines with a rated power of not less than 500 kW.
