JB/T 11791-2014 is a recommended Chinese machinery standard giving a performance test method for devices that remove soot from diesel engine lubricating oil, with initial filtration efficiency as the measure. It describes test methods for multi channel soot filters using batch thermogravimetric analysis, online continuous Fourier transform infrared measurement or other recognised techniques for measuring carbon black, in order to assess that initial efficiency. The standard is an identical adoption of ISO/TS 23556-2007. Among the standards it quotes are ISO 1219-1, ISO 3968, ISO 4405, ISO 11481-1, ISO 11481-2 and DHD-1-2001. The Chinese classification is J90 and the international classification 27.020, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it.
