1 Foreword

JB/T 11654-2013 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry setting the technical conditions for large artificial climate chambers that simulate a high-altitude environment. The chambers concerned are those whose effective volume runs from 50 m3 to 1000 m3. For them the standard gives terms and definitions, technical requirements and test methods. It applies to electrical products, and the field of application is not limited to them. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 4797.2-2005, GB/T 10586-2006, GB/T 10590-2006, GB/T 11159-2010, GB/T 14597-2010 and GB/T 20645-2006. It is classified K04 in China and 29.020 internationally.
