JB/T 11577.1-2013 is the first part of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on spherical surface lathes, and it is given over to testing of the accuracy. It covers the geometric accuracy and the working accuracy of the lathe together with the tolerances that go with them. It applies to general-purpose spherical turning lathes of ordinary accuracy with a maximum turning diameter of 1000 mm at the turret. Its Chinese classification is J53 and its international classification 25.080.10, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it. It quotes GB/T 1182-2008 and GB/T 17421.1-1998.
