JB/T 11143-2011 is the English-translated version of 锂离子蓄电池充电设备接口和通讯协议.

JB/T 11143-2011 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the interface and the communication protocol of charging equipment for lithium-ion batteries. It sets the terminology and definitions, the topologies and interfaces, the communication protocols, the data formats and the state transitions. It applies to equipment charging lithium-ion cells, modules and assemblies at an AC rated voltage not exceeding 660 V and a DC rated voltage not exceeding 1000 V, and it may also be used for charging equipment for nickel-based and lead-acid battery modules and assemblies connected by cable. The standard is classified K81 in China and 29.220 internationally. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 18858.3-2002, JB/T 11137-2011, JB/T 11140-2011 and JB/T 11142-2011.
