1 Foreword

JB/T 10945-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry covering silicone rubber materials for composite insulators. It sets the product requirements for the material, the test methods, the inspection, and the provisions for packaging, marking, storage and transportation. The material covered is high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber for composite insulators. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 528-2009, GB/T 529-2008, GB/T 531.1-2008, GB/T 1408.1-2006, GB/T 1692-2008, GB/T 6553-2003, GB/T 10707-2008 and DL/T 810-2002. The catalogue gives the Chinese classification K15 and the international classification 29.035.20, and names the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as the issuing body of the standard.
