JB/T 10008-2010 is the English-translated version of 渐开线测量蜗杆.

JB/T 10008-2010 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on involute master worms, the measuring worms used in involute metrology.

It gives the terminology and definitions for the measuring worm, its types and basic parameters, the requirements placed on it, the inspection conditions and the test methods, together with marking and packaging.

JB/T 10008-2010 applies to master worms with a normal module mn from 0.1 mm to 10 mm and with one to three threads, in the accuracy grades the standard lists. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 17163, GB/T 17164 and GB/T 10086-1988.

It replaces JB/T 10008-1999, and it carries the Chinese classification J42 and the international classification 17.040.30.

1 Foreword

JB/T 10008-2010 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10008-1999.

2 Scope
