C.4 Determination step C.4.1 Treatment of samples Stir the sample evenly, weigh two samples of about 1~2g each, accurate to 0.0001g, and put in two 300mL beakers (C.3.3) the solution was dissolved in water and transferred to a 500 mL glass distiller (C.3.2) to control a total volume of.200 mL.

C.4.2 Distillation

Add a few sodium hydroxide (C.2.8) to the prepared distillation solution, and test the pH of the solution to >12 with a wide pH test paper (C.2.7).

Add a few explosion-proof glass beads.

Accurately transfer 10mL sulfuric acid standard solution (C.2.4) to 25mL tube (B.3.5), add 3-4 drops of mixed indicator (C.2.6), Place the test tube (C.3.5) in a 300 mL Erlenmeyer flask (C.3.4), and then insert the distiller distillate outlet glass tube into the bottom of the test tube.

In the liquid.

Check the distiller connection and ensure that the seal is heated and distilled. After collecting the distilled liquid for 180 mL, stop heating and remove the distillation bottle.

Rinse the condenser with water and collect the wash in an Erlenmeyer flask.

C.4.3 Titration

The solution in the test tube was transferred to a 300 mL Erlenmeyer flask, the tube was washed, and the washing solution was incorporated into an Erlenmeyer flask. Titrate the solution with sodium hydroxide standard (C.2.5) Returning excess sulfuric acid standard solution until the indicator turns from bright purple to grayish green, consuming sodium hydroxide standard titration solution the volume is V1.

C.4.4 Blank test

At the same time of measurement, according to the same analysis steps, reagents and dosage, parallel operation without adding sample, determination of blank test oxidized the sodium standard titration solution consumes a volume of V2.

C.5 calculation

The content of ammonia and its compounds in the ink is expressed in terms of ammonia (NH3) mass fraction and is calculated according to formula (C.1).

100X

x x x2 1 ammonia (V -V)c 0.01703= m (C.1) where. X ammonia - the mass fraction of ammonia in the ink, %;

c -- the exact value of the concentration of sodium hydroxide standard solution, mol/L;

V1-- titration sample solution consumption of sodium hydroxide standard solution volume value, mL;

V2-- blank test consumes the value of sodium hydroxide standard solution volume, mL;

0.01703 -- the mass of ammonia equivalent to 1.00 mL of sodium hydroxide standard solution [c (NaOH ) = 1.000 mol/L], g;

M-- the quality of the sample, g.

Take the arithmetic mean of the results of two parallel determinations as the measurement results. When the absolute difference between the two parallel determination results is greater than 0.01%, Re-measure.
