HG/T 6117-2022 describes the determination of copper, nickel, lead, zinc and cadmium in high-salt wastewater by inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry. The standard sets out the general provisions and the determination procedure for these five elements. It applies to high-salt wastewater, and gives the lower determination limits of the method as 0.1 mg/L for copper, 0.01 mg/L for nickel, 0.02 mg/L for lead, 0.05 mg/L for zinc and 0.005 mg/L for cadmium. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 30 September 2022 and it took effect on 1 April 2023.
