HG/T 6026-2022 lays down how organic fertilisers are assessed as green design products. It gives the principles and methods of evaluation, the evaluation requirements, the life cycle assessment method and the way the evaluation report is prepared. The standard applies to the green design product evaluation of organic fertilisers, bio-organic fertilisers, organic-inorganic compound fertilisers and other organic fertiliser products; farmyard manure and other organic manures produced by farmers themselves are excluded. A recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry, it was issued on 30 September 2022 and has applied since 1 April 2023.
