HG/T 6024-2022 is the chemical industry standard for evaluating liquid fertilizers as green design products. It sets the principles of the evaluation, the methods, the requirements and the way the life cycle assessment report is prepared. It applies to liquid fertilizers whose main nutrients are nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in large amounts, with suitable quantities of secondary and trace elements and beneficial elements added, and to liquid fertilizers made up of major, secondary and trace elements. Solid water-soluble fertilizers are outside its scope. The standard was issued on 30 September 2022 and has applied since 1 April 2023.

This standard specifies the evaluation principles, methods, requirements, and life cycle assessment report preparation methods for liquid fertilizer green design products. This standard applies to liquid fertilizers composed of large amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium as the main nutrients, with appropriate amounts of medium and trace elements and beneficial elements added; or liquid fertilizers composed of large, medium, and trace elements. This standard does not apply to solid water-soluble fertilizers.
