HG/T 4907-2016 is a recommended Chinese chemical industry standard that guides the calibration of the apparatus used to burst test condoms. It sets out the calibration principle for the bursting test apparatus and gives guidance on the overall requirements for traceability. It also establishes the basic principles for fixing the interval between calibrations and for evaluating the uncertainty of the measurement. Its scope is the calibration of the condom bursting apparatus itself, not the testing of the product, which lies with the product standard, and it is placed under Chinese classification G40 and international classification 83.060. It quotes GB 7544, GB/T 19000, GB/T 19022 and GB/T 27025. Issued on 15 January 2016, it has applied since 1 July 2016.
