HG/T 4864-2015 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that fixes the test method for the activity of CO2 dehydrogenation catalysts used in urea synthesis. It describes how the activity of the catalyst is measured, so that batches can be judged on a common basis. The method applies to catalysts made of platinum, palladium or platinum-palladium supported on alumina, which remove hydrogen from the carbon dioxide fed to urea synthesis and from high purity gases and other chemical raw material gases. Sampling and particle sizing follow GB/T 6678 and GB/T 6003.1. Issued on 14 July 2015, it has applied since 1 January 2016.
