HG/T 4859-2015 is the English-translated version of 常温氧硫化碳水解催化剂化学成分分析方法.

HG/T 4859-2015 is the Chinese chemical industry standard setting the methods for the chemical composition analysis of room temperature carbonyl sulfide hydrolysis catalysts. It gives the procedures for determining the mass fractions of hydroxide, aluminium oxide and sodium oxide in the catalyst, together with the loss on ignition. The methods apply to the room temperature COS hydrolysis catalysts that carry potassium as the main active ingredient on an alumina support. The analyses use standard solutions prepared to GB/T 601 and GB/T 603, water to GB/T 6682, sampling to GB/T 6679 and sieves to GB/T 6003.1. Issued on 14 July 2015, it has applied since 1 January 2016.
