HG/T 4677-2014 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that gives the test method for the reaction performance of iron-based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalysts. It sets out how the behaviour of the catalyst in the synthesis reaction is measured, so that different batches and preparations can be compared on the same basis. The method applies to the iron-based catalysts used in slurry bed Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, where hydrocarbons are built from hydrogen and carbon monoxide. It quotes GB/T 21367, GB/T 27884, GB/T 27885, GB/T 6003.1 and GB/T 6678. Issued on 14 October 2014, it has applied since 1 April 2015.
