HG/T 4674-2014 sets out the test method for the activity of nickel-based catalysts used in the gas phase hydrogenation of benzene, and it carries the recommended status of a Chinese chemical industry standard. The method applies to catalysts whose main active component is nickel and that are prepared by precipitation or by impregnation for the hydrogenation of benzene in organic synthesis. The document describes how activity is measured and does not itself fix product grades. GB/T 6003.1 and GB/T 6678 are the standards quoted in its text.
