HG/T 4609-2014 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for light-coloured refined reclaimed rubber, the material recovered from scrap rubber and refined so that it keeps a pale colour. It sets out the classification of the material and then the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the packaging, labelling, transport and storage. It is written for reclaimed rubber made from light-coloured feedstock and intended for light-coloured articles. Physical testing follows GB/T 528, GB/T 533, GB/T 1232.1, GB/T 2449, GB/T 3185, GB/T 3516-2006, GB/T 4498-1997, GB/T 6038, GB/T 9103, GB/T 13460-2008 and GB/T 21840. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
