HG/T 4603-2014 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that gives the calculation of the minimum transition distance for conveyor belts running on three-roll idlers. It provides the formula for the transition distance together with a detailed account of how that formula is applied and how it is derived, so it is a calculation rule and not a product specification. The rule does not apply to the light conveyor belts described in ISO 21183-1. The standard is an identical adoption of ISO 5293:2004 and is used with ISO 1537 and ISO 9856. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
