Scope

HG/T 4401-2012 is the English-translated version of 轮胎翻新生产技术规范.

HG/T 4401-2012 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that lays down the technical specification for retreaded tyre production. It gives the terms and definitions used in retreading and then the production and technical requirements for the process itself.

It applies to the retreading of tyres for passenger cars, trucks and construction machinery. Being a process standard, it is classified G41 in China and ICS 83.160.01, the general heading for tyres.
