Black-and-white resin-coated photographic paper, usually shortened to RC paper, is the subject of HG/T 4359-2012. This recommended Chinese chemical industry standard gives the requirements for the paper along with test methods, inspection rules, packaging, labelling, transport and storage. It applies to ordinary silver halide coated black-and-white RC paper, the resin-coated base used for black-and-white printing. Its classification is G81 in China and 37.040.20 internationally, with the other photographic materials. GB/T 191, GB/T 6843, GB/T 9861, GB/T 14766 and GB/T 15061 are cited alongside it. Issued on 7 November 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
