HG/T 4349-2012 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for ambient-temperature carbonyl sulfide hydrolysis catalysts. It lays down the requirements for these catalysts along with the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, packaging, storage and transport. Its field of use is the gas streams of ammonia, hydrogen and methanol synthesis and organic synthesis gas, where carbonyl sulfide has to be hydrolysed without heating the stream.
