HG/T 4300-2012 is the English-translated version of 橡胶流变性能的测定 柱塞式毛细管流变仪法.
HG/T 4300-2012 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for measuring the rheological properties of rubber with a piston-type capillary rheometer. It specifies how raw rubber and rubber compounds are examined on that instrument. Rheological properties are used to characterise the flow behaviour of the material, which bears directly on how it behaves in actual processing. Sample preparation and the surrounding test practice follow GB/T 2941, GB/T 5576, GB/T 6038, GB/T 14838 and GB/T 15340. The standard is a non-equivalent adoption of ASTM D5099-2008 and is classified G40 in China and 83.060 internationally. Issued on 24 May 2012, it has applied since 1 November 2012.
